The Hot Shot debuted in 1985 as Tamiya's first full-scale 4WD racing buggy, and gained great popularity.
The basic structure has been inherited and each part has been improved.
This is a reproduction model of the Hot Shot II, which was released in 1987 with improved ease of assembly, maintenance, and maneuverability.
The low-slung, smart body and the rear wing, which is a major feature of the styling, are made of polycarbonate.
Both are painted in a fearless black and cut.
In addition, stickers are available for the yellow/orange lines and car name logo that further emphasize the combative form.

★ A tough chassis configuration that shows the direction of high-speed 4WD buggies
The chassis is a shaft-driven 4WD that inherits the concept of the original Hot Shot II.
The high-strength monocoque frame is fitted with sealed gearboxes at the front and rear to prevent sand and pebbles from entering.
A differential gear is built in to produce smooth operation and straightforward maneuverability.
It also comes with an underguard that doubles as a battery cover.
The four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension is equipped with one CVA oil damper at the front and two at the rear.
A stabilizer is fitted to the front wheels, and the flexible suspension makes effective use of the four-wheel drive power.
In addition, the white dish wheels are fitted with low-profile hollow rubber tires that combine oval blocks and pin spikes.
With high grip and 4WD, it can easily traverse rough roads.
